Mark and I visited Los Angeles and San Diego earlier this month and hung out with our GeograPeep friend Barby in LA and stayed with our friend Ken in San Diego. Here is a photo of me with my beau Mark at Point Fermin Lighthouse:

Mark and I drove to Otay Mesa, just southeast of San Diego, so the border freak in me could take a first-time look at the USA-Mexico border. We wanted to see the national emergency with our own eyes.
