Mark and I leave for Halifax tomorrow so I am trying to get everything done before I leave for the airport at 7:48 a.m. I finished baking my last batch of shortbreads this morning, then headed to the Polish deli to get a supply of sausages since there are no such delis in Halifax. Polish sausage is such a hit with my east coast family and I look forward to preparing meat platters when I am down east. I take the meats on board with me, so I will have the most fragrant backpack as my carry-on.
My house was fully decorated for Christmas by November 24 yet it has taken me this long–finally–to take pictures and then post them. I didn’t even roam the house with a camera till this past weekend.
While I was baking I spotted a blue jay and a red cardinal at my feeder.
