Christmas in Halifax

Mark and I are celebrating Christmas at the home of Mark’s sister Patsy and her partner Jim. Their real Christmas tree is always full with a wide girth. This is how it looked on Christmas morning after the visits of four Santas:

Patsy and Jim hosted an open house from 2-4 p.m. and then we prepared for our dinner at the home of good friends Maxine and Peter. I spent my time squeezing lemons for Patsy’s famous lemontinis. Spending Christmas dinner with us will be Maxine’s daughter Julia and her husband Iain, so it is bound to be a fun night full of good food, music and conversation. We leave for their place in twenty minutes.
