Mark and I drove from Mývatn to Seyðisfjörður on the east coast today. When we walked into the Skaftfell Center for Visual Art, which is also a cafe, library and town hangout, my eye was drawn immediately to the games area. I finally found an Icelandic version of Scrabble! I hadn’t been able to find one anywhere, and this was the first one I had ever seen. I took photos of the letters, board and box. Sadly, the letter pool was incomplete, as I could not find the tile of an O with an acute accent on it.
