Since I read Jalna last year I have taken a great interest in this Canadian author, enough to seek out special editions of her work. Jalna was published in October 1927 and I wanted to find such an edition still with its dust jacket. Although this third printing from October 1927 had a hole in the front cover, I consider it a fortunate find:
