More holiday photos

Mark lent me his photo card and I will make some prints for myself which I will combine with mine in a summer holiday album. Here are some of his shots from our summer trip to Finland and Germany:

I am standing in front of the statue of Finnish novelist Aleksis Kivi. It is in front of the Suomen Kansallisteatteri (Finnish National Theatre).

Crouching by the roses at Helsingin kaupungin talvipuutarha (literally, Helsinki City Winter Garden).

Like me, Mark loves to take photos of Finnish signs. I will translate this after the photos, but before you look, what do you think it means? Answer at the end.

At the beautiful new Berlin Hauptbahnhof (main train station).

“This is where departures are, Mark! We can still catch our plane.”
Not bloody likely at Tempelhof.

Before game three at the Eissporthalle Troisdorf. Mark’s team would win it 4-0.

I am Mark’s official stick boy. We are waiting for the train to Berlin at the Köln Hauptbahnhof (Cologne main train station).

There are more photos to come.
