Hillpiece, along Tristan’s northwest coast. I hiked in this area on many occasions, exploring different ways to get to the Patches, where the Tristanians grow their potatoes and other vegetables. The Hardies are the rocks on the centre right.
On 19 September we were visited by fishing vessel MV Edinburgh, which makes occasional stops at Tristan. A fishing boat has just rendezvoused with the Edinburgh and is returning to Calshot Harbour:
