373-406 against Dave K. I played SLITTeR (68) and Dave played PAsTIER (75) and DINGERS (79). My opening rack was DEJKONR, which I playfully rearranged to form JERK DON, my assessment of the American president. The shortest steal for that rack is JuNKERDOm.
395-319 against Joseph B. Joseph went first and exchanged tiles. My first rack was ACEGLT? but I didn’t see the only 7LW, GELCoAT. I decided to exchange the G. Joseph then exchanged on his second turn, telling me that his replacement pick was worse than his first. I drew an E and opened the game with CLEATEd (72). Joseph played DIlATES (89).
392-322 against Steve. My opening rack was EGJLPX? and I played PLEX (26), keeping GJ? The next four tiles I drew were DPQW, giving me the hideous DGJPQW? I exchanged on my next turn, keeping D?, then bingoed with TOASTeD (71) on my following turn. Steve played ABELIAs (71).
