401-376 against Charles. Charles played VIRtUEs (75) and I played ANIMATER (62) yet was more proud of JETSAM (91), where I slotted the J on the TLS, also making JUN. Plus, the word landed on a DWS, so that was almost one hundred points for a 6LW. I played SYNES £, when SNYES would have fit just the same:
447-357 against Sid. I played FANCIES (78) and StERILE (80). Sid played LINNETS (68).
362-330 against Peter H. I played rOADEOS (72) and Peter played CANDLeR (70). My bingo rack ADEOOS? resembled the AENOOR? rack against Peter last week, even more so in that I made the blank an r. That bingo rack also makes SEAfOOD. One of my racks was ADEOWY? and I found mEADOWY, but Peter played in the only spot where it would go down. That is the only 7LW with that rack. There is only one 8LW: AvOWEDlY.
