Mark and I were away on September 5, the first day of the Club’s 33rd season, yet we celebrated the past season’s winners last Thursday night. I won ten dollars for having the third-highest winning percentage at 73.5% with fifty wins and eighteen losses over 68 games.
I started the new season off well with three wins:
430-289 against Yvonne. I played DESCENTs (83), OGREISM (81) and ANURIaS (77).
400-357 against John D. I played TAXIINg (71) and CRUTCHES (82). John played STRaINS (67) and IODATING (74).
447-289 against Kaveri. I played ABETTOR (71), REALISE (80) and RESOLVeD (61) and Kaveri played ArENOUS (64). My final rack in this game was the unplayable FUCOIDS. Kaveri had an unplayable bingo rack as well, INTEGER / TREEING.
