Thanksgiving weekend Scrabble

Mark and I spent the long weekend in Walkerton, Ontario, visiting there with his sister Patsy, where her son Jonathan and his family live. While Patsy used her air miles points to book herself into the town’s Best Western, Mark and I stayed again at the Silver Creek Bed & Breakfast. We played Scrabble there each night and I won four out of five, averaging 416 to Mark’s 342. Here is the bingo breakdown:

On Saturday we drove to Owen Sound and used the beautiful big YMCA, and on the drive back home on Thanksgiving Monday we drove through Elora and were pleasantly surprised to find most of the shops open. I bought Mark his annual Christmas tree ornament at Hanscomb Glass Studio. He will get it when we set up his tree, not for another two months.
