I won one game last Wednesday, to take my record to 9-6:

360-427 against David S. I played ENACTIVE (64) and AERATION (60) and David played CZaRINA (85) and LANgREL (65).

308-602 against Zev. I played WRONgERS (83) and Zev played LATTINS (66), ZOOGLEAE (212) and jABBERS (79). Zev’s triple-triple was played through the L in LATTINS two turns later. He had made an intervening play for only seven points after LATTINS, so perhaps he was fishing for it. He told me that his 212 score was his highest turn ever. Zev has been playing competitive Scrabble a lot longer than me and he would definitely remember other high-scoring milestones. I can say I was on the receiving end of this bingo-busting blowout board. On the subject of personal highest turns, my record is 257.

406-349 against Mark E. I played DRUMLIKE (80) and DENOTEs (73) and Mark played TSURRIS (67)* and NONLIVEs (87). Mark’s first bingo is one of those GINGELLY / GANEF / SPEAR words where you cannot misspell it and while I didn’t like his version with the two R’s, I let it go.
