I won all three last night, taking my record to 8-4. Among the three games there were only three bingos played, and a very low-scoring game in round three:
372-353 against Doug B. He played the only bingo, AtONIEs (64).
400-328 against Zev. I played GLIDeRS (74) and PANTERS (88) £. Zev held me on PANTERS for a while and I legitimately thought it was acceptable in the North American lexicon. Two of its anagrams would have played (ENTRAPS or TREPANS) yet PANTERS scored the most. (PARENTS or PASTERN, while starting with the same two letters as PANTERS, would not have fit.) Zev let it go when he realized I had other bingos to play, thus why would I try a word like PANTERS instead?
315-313 against Alex. I used the blank to play out and Alex was left with his on his rack.
