It’s been ages since I’ve posted about my games with Mark. I tend to post only if there are interesting board situations or words played. Today we played two games and I won both:
510-330. I got down four bingos: WITTEREd (90), TAFFETA (81), bANJOES (82) and UTILISE (73). My second bingo rack was cursed with repetition: AAEFFTT and I am surprised that I found it. For my third bingo rack, I wanted to place the J in initial position since it would have landed on a TLS. I knew JOHANNES as an 8LW and looked for any openings, but forgot it could also be spelled JOANNES.
355-328. I played FATIGUED (69). My rack, prior to playing the bingo, was ACDEIRU. It makes no 7LW yet the only 8LW I saw was AURICLED. Seems that that rack can build through only two other letters, and they’re the weirdies J (JUDICARE) and Q (ACQUIRED). I ended up playing CURIA, and then drew ADEFGIT to play through the U.
